We are looking for an experienced casual instructor to join the University Transfer Instructional Team for the Fall 2025 semester to teach of Psychology 1060 “Principles of Psychology.”

This position requires a flexible schedule, including some evening work.

This position will start early September 2025 and conclude in late December. This section is online synchronous, Mondays from 2-5pm.

 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

 

  • Plan and prepare for the instructional delivery of PSYC 1060.

  • Instruct and evaluate students in PSYC 1060.

  • Maintain student and program records for your section of PSYC 1060.

  • Collaborate with and contribute to the instructional team as needed.

  • Assist with curriculum development within the program where necessary.

 

WHAT YOU BRING:

 

  • Master’s degree or higher in Psychology.

    • If your education was received internationally we recommend you obtain an international education assessment through IQASWES, or one of the other nationally designated organizations.

  • Experience teaching under-represented student populations, international students, Indigenous students, and mature students.

  • Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle, Blackboard Ultra and/ or other educational technologies considered an asset.

SALARY:  As this is a Faculty role, the pay range is quite large. The Faculty Association agreement outlines how pay is determined.
