We’re searching for someone dedicated to making a difference to join our University Transfer – Dual Credit team. We are looking for an experienced term/casual instructor to join the Dual Credit - University Transfer Instructional Team for the Fall 2026 Semester/Winter 2027 Semester to teach Psychology with our dual credit partners.
Dual credit programming provides high school students with the opportunity to take university transfer courses through NorQuest, earning high school and post-secondary credit at the same time.
This position requires both in person and online teaching from September to January (availability between 4pm-7pm on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings is essential), and February to June 2027.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Plan and prepare for the instructional delivery of PSYC 1040 and 1050.
- Instruct and evaluate students in PSYC 1040 and1050.
- Maintain student and program records for your section of PSYC 1040 and1050.
- Collaborate with and contribute to the instructional team as needed.
- Information sharing between school division and college
- Monitoring student progress and providing regular updates to dual credit contacts
WHAT YOU BRING
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology.
- If your education was received internationally, we recommend you obtain an international education assessment through IQAS, WES, or one of the other nationally designated organizations.
- Experience teaching under-represented student populations, such as Indigenous students.
- Work experience in a psychological field considered an asset.
- Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle (misiwe), Kalutra and/ or other educational technologies considered an asset, and software to teach online/hybrid if required.
- Curriculum development is considered an asset.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts to students. Taking a proactive approach by providing clear communication on timelines, assessments and student code of conduct.
- Classroom Management: Ability to manage classroom dynamics and maintain a positive learning environment.
