Reporting to the Associate Registrar, Enrolment, the Credential Audit Analyst is responsible to ensure all student records are accurate, from matriculation through to graduation, including registration, grading, graduate checking, and academic advisement record set up and maintenance.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
Reporting and Analysis
- Audit and analyze student records to identify potential graduates and check for completion / graduation status.
- Audit final grades to confirm eligibility to graduate.
- Monitor academic records and liaise with program leaders on complexities in the academic record.
- Support OR leadership and students in preparing for convocation.
- Query and monitor data related to student records, update accounts as needed.
- Investigate academic record discrepancies to ensure accuracy of the learner record
Student communication
- Respond to student and program inquiries about eligibility to graduate.
- Investigate and resolve concerns and issues related to graduation and enrolment verification requests.
- Provide specialized confirmation of registration letters and assist in completing forms for certification/licensing, as required.
- Manage requests for personal documents on the student file, abide by college policies and FOIP requirements for release of personal information, and contribute to building policies on student records management.
System Maintenance
- Ensure the accuracy of Academic Advisement set up in the Student Information System in alignment with program architecture approved by Advanced Education and Academic Council
- Maintain and troubleshoot MyCreds issues
WHAT YOU BRING:
- A Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Library Science or Records Management preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of experience or related careers in a post-secondary setting is required.
- Equivalencies will be considered.
- Use of a student information system (PeopleSoft preferred).

- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Accurate keyboarding skills
- Experience working with post-secondary transcripts and grades
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must be able to remain calm in demanding situations and appropriately deal with stress resulting from situations.
- Knowledge of FOIP
SALARY: $54,028 - $70,193 annually, reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience with immediate access to our great pension and benefit programs.
