Reporting to the Manager of Enrolment Data and Operations, the Enrolment Data Analyst provides expert analysis and predictive modeling to forecast enrolment trends, identify challenges, and uncover data-driven opportunities. This role develops and interprets enrolment reports - such as application funnels, progression, retention, and operational metrics - to support informed enrolment decision-making and institutional planning. The Analyst collaborates closely with Admissions & Supports, Marketing & Recruitment, Faculties, and strategic committees to ensure high-quality data capture, validate processes, and deliver insights that strengthen enrolment strategies from application through completion.

 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Lead the development, analysis, and forecasting of enrolment data to inform strategic enrolment management and institutional planning.
  • Design, build, and maintain advanced reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions—translating complex enrolment metrics into actionable insights for stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Implement predictive modeling and analytical methodologies to enhance enrolment forecasting, trend analysis, and decision-making.
  • Oversee the accuracy, quality, and compliance of all enrolment reporting, including government-required submissions (e.g., LERS, ASI, IRCC).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Business Intelligence, Institutional Research, Admissions, IT, and Compliance—to ensure the integration and maintenance of high-quality enrolment data.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of enrolment patterns, application funnels, learner progression, and operational data (e.g., room utilization, scheduling demand) to identify risks, opportunities, and data-driven recommendations.
  • Develop enrolment reporting frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of SEM plans, funding strategies, and key institutional initiatives.
  • Build data literacy across the organization through consultation, training, and the promotion of a data-informed culture in enrolment decision-making.

 

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Computing Science or Management Information Systems preferred. Graduate studies preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • 3–5 years of experience with institutional or registrarial data, including developing reports/queries and collaborating with stakeholders to meet project goals.
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and data science skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and communicate clear insights to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in a post-secondary or Registrar’s Office environment, with knowledge of enrolment reporting requirements, educational trends, and Strategic Enrolment Management principles.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships and influence decision-making, supported by excellent communication, consultation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and financial/numerical concepts, along with an understanding of FOIP and best practices in data governance and privacy.

  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, maintaining confidentiality and tact while developing deep understanding of enrolment processes and institutional data needs.
  • Independence and initiative in navigating evolving priorities, managing college-wide data needs, and ensuring government reporting requirements are met on time.
  • A strategic perspective, gathering and synthesizing information across the organization to identify gaps, align enrolment reporting with institutional initiatives, and support long-term planning.
