  • Develop and maintain current-state process maps, data dictionaries, metadata, decision logs, validation records, and related enrolment data documentation.
  • Facilitate enrolment data discussions with business and technical subject-matter experts to confirm definitions, ownership, business rules, process steps, and intended use of key data elements.
  • Design and execute data validation activities and tests, comparing data warehouse outputs, reports, queries, and exports with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and documented business processes.
  • Identify, document, and validate enrolment data attributes, data definitions, business rules, dependencies, limitations, and reporting requirements that support institutional reporting and planning.
  • Maintain an inventory of enrolment reports and data products, including purpose, source data, business owners, dependencies, and known limitations.
  • Analyze enrolment data and trends related to applicants, new learners, ongoing learners, yield, progression, laddering, and student success to support institutional insight and planning.
  • Assess enrolment data quality, identify gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities, and communicate findings, limitations, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support exploratory enrolment data analysis, ad hoc reporting requests, and enrolment data intelligence initiatives for internal stakeholders.
  • Foster a data-informed culture through consultations, outreach, collaboration, strategic planning activities, and participation on institutional committees and working groups.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Computing Science or Management Information Systems preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • 3-5 years of experience in institutional, registrarial, or enrolment data analysis, including report development, query development, and stakeholder collaboration.

  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills, combined with knowledge of enrolment data best practices, reporting requirements, privacy legislation, and data analysis tools.

WHAT MAKES YOU A DIFFERENCE MAKER?

As a difference maker you:

  • Manage multiple enrolment data priorities while balancing documentation, validation, reporting, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Exercise sound judgment when reconciling differing interpretations of business processes, enrolment data definitions, and reporting requirements.
  • Assess enrolment data quality issues and determine whether concerns should be clarified, corrected, monitored, or escalated to the appropriate business or technical owner.
  • Engage, consult, and collaborate with operational, functional, and strategic leaders to support enrolment data analysis and informed decision-making.
  • Influence institutional planning through highly impactful analysis, documentation, and validation work used by senior leaders to guide enrolment planning and strategic priorities.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with business and technical stakeholders to develop a shared understanding of enrolment processes, data definitions, and reporting uses.
  • Work independently to plan and complete documentation, process mapping, validation activities, and government reporting requirements while managing competing priorities.
