NorQuesters are difference makers, committed to creating a positive impact in our students' lives. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Financial Aid & Awards Administrator to join our Financial Aid & Awards team, helping students access the resources they need to succeed.
 

Reporting to the Team Lead, Financial Aid & Awards Compliance, this position is a key contributor the accessibility of a NorQuest education and a subject matter expert in government student aid policy. The incumbent is responsible for the compliant administration of government student aid, award and grant programs for funded learners at NorQuest College. Duties include confirmation of registration related activities, monitoring and tracking foundational learning and Government of Alberta scholarship allocations, and associated required reporting. 

 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Confirm and report learner enrolment and funding changes in compliance with government legislation, regulations, and policies.

  • Manage communications and information for learners receiving funding or foundational learning assistance.

  • Oversee the Foundational Learning application process, tracking and reconciling allocation usage in collaboration with the Team Lead.

  • Support compliance reporting, including book and supply cost submissions, refund reporting, and government grant requirements.

  • Compile and maintain accurate statistical and financial data for regular reporting.

  • Provide administrative and email support to the Financial Aid team to ensure efficient daily operations.

WHAT YOU BRING

•    Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a senior administrative role preferably in a post-secondary setting

•    Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, SharePoint
•    Knowledge of PeopleSoft
