Graduates of NorQuest College’s Practical Nurse Diploma program are also Difference Makers in terms of the health care that Albertans receive. Our students prepare for their clinical experiences with theory and hands-on learning in multiple modes of delivery, and we are proud of the varied and robust learning experiences in our programs. We utilize low and high-fidelity simulation to augment the learner experience, providing students with a safe learning environment to practice and reflect.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Ability to travel to Edmonton and/or Wetaskiwin for lab facilitation is required
- Support learners in developing the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for safe practice
- Work with students in on‑campus lab environments
- Hours vary; labs run weekdays and weekends, during days and evenings
- Set up and take down lab spaces according to the schedule
- Monitor, organize, and prepare lab supplies, equipment, and materials
- Collaborate with the lab team to ensure effective course delivery
- Supervise students, maintain records, provide feedback, address concerns, and foster positive relationships across the college
WHAT YOU BRING
- A Practical Nurse designation is required.
- At least 3 years of nursing or nursing education experience (or the equivalent in part-time experience).
- CLPNA registration with no restrictions
- Current BLS, WHIMIS, HBPE, It’s Your Move, N95 Mask
- Previous formal or informal teaching experience is an asset
