FACULTY OF SKILLS AND FOUNDATIONAL LEARNING – Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC)
NorQuesters are difference makers and we’re searching for someone dedicated to making a difference to join the Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) team as a Program Administrator.
The Program Administrator will thrive in showcasing our values by providing administrative support for the Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) program, program leadership, and serving as a point of contact for students, other faculties and college services.
The position responsibilities include student support; the support of administrative processes and systems; data entry; supply maintenance; enrolment support and adoption of processes using new software and apps; providing student communications; event organization and support; maintenance of physical and electronic records and documents; and other administrative duties as required.
This position is required in-person at our downtown Edmonton campus on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and every second Monday. Occasional evening work may be required.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

Represent the faculty and maintain broad knowledge of college systems and resources at reception

Support students at reception connecting them with the correct services, supports and resources whenever required

Support student requests for certificates, letters and general course information

Maintain accurate student information, including data entry and uploads into relevant systems

Administer LINC processes including waitlist, enrolment and withdrawal processes

Prepare and validate data for the LINC student placement process

Incorporate new projects and processes as they arise

Identify and raise issues around LINC processes as needed

Develop and document term by term administrative processes relating to their role

Other administrative tasks as required
WHAT YOU BRING:

A minimum of a 2-year business diploma
OR
-
3+ years equivalent experience
-
3+ years customer service experience
-
Excellent understanding of office systems through prior experience, including MS Teams and the MS Office Suite

SALARY: AUPE Administrator I | Band Level 5 | $23.69 - $30.79 hourly reflective upon what you bring, AKA your education and experience. This is a casual position until April 10, 2026.
