NorQuesters are difference makers and we’re searching for someone dedicated to making a difference to join our Institute for Teaching, Learning, and Technology team as a Project Coordinator. 

Reporting to the Academic Program Manager, Institute for Teaching, Learning, and Technology, the Project Coordinator is a pivotal role responsible for assisting in launching the new suite of academic awards. The project responsibilities of this position include support for the launch of the new suite of academic awards as well as the Jaye Frederickson Teaching Excellence award through meeting management, coordinating project activities, project status tracking and reporting, streamlining administration processes and liasing with stakeholders.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Project coordination of launching the new suite of Academic Awards
  • Planning meetings, note taking, conducting follow up, researching agenda items, connecting and consulting with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), communications planning and execution, and project management tasks.   
  • Managing internal SharePoint Sites/Connect pages and content for future public sites on the NQ website. This may include creating or facilitating the creation of graphics, short videos, etc.   
  • Supporting, developing, optimizing, and measuring processes for the academic awards which could include but is not limited to:
    • Collaborate with faculty members, leadership and other divisions on the development and implementation of a suite of annual faculty awards.
    • Administer all processes related to academic awards, including managing nominations, contacting all applicants, processing applications, administering surveys, supporting adjudication process and awarding awards
    • Document all processes and create SOPs for the academic awards processes
    • Coordinate logistics for the annual award celebration Including sending out invites, organizing catering, entertainment, creation of certificates and trophies, and other details as required
  • Automate processes where possible

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Experience in managing projects  
  • Knowledge and experience with measurement and evaluation  
  • Knowledge and experience with change management practices
  • 5 years of directly related experience in a post-secondary environment or similarly complex portfolio.

  • Project management experience an asset
  • Familiarity with Qualtrics an asset
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft an asset

Salary: AUPE Band Level 6 | Administrator II | $49,129 - $63,854 reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience.
