We’re excited for you to explore the opportunity to join our Student Support Centre team as a Student Support Administrator in a permanent position.

 

Reporting to the Team Lead of the Student Support Centre, the Administrator acts as a primary point of contact.  The Administrator responds to front-line inquiries resolving or directing as required.

 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

 

  • Answer inquiries from students and prospective students, through multiple channels, providing appropriate resolution or direct to other services.
  • Manage group email accounts. For each email, the Administrator will either respond to the inquiry directly or direct the inquiry to the appropriate team can respond.
  • Answer incoming calls, to the college switchboard, for general information and referrals.  With the goal of a one-call resolution perspective when possible.
  • Assist prospects or students in using self-service kiosks to apply to college programs or access other online services.
  • Assist LINC applicants to complete an application for admission.
  • Manage ID card photo process and distribute student ID cards.

 

WHAT YOU BRING:

 

  • Post-secondary certificate, diploma preferred - ideally in the area of office or business administration.
  • 1+ years’ experience of related customer service experience. A combination of education and experience can be considered
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook); comfortable with other computer applications.
  • Experience working with Student Information System (preferably PeopleSoft) an asset.
  • Knowledge of FOIP.

SALARY:  $44,648 - $58,033 annually reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience. This is a full-time position with the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE). For more information regarding the AUPE Collective Agreement, please check out this link.
