- Collaborate with key partners and provide guidance to people leaders to resolve issues related to compensation administration, benefits and leaves to ensure equity, accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct benefit orientation sessions for new hires and advise on available options.
- Administer and answer inquiries on benefit plans including enrollment, changes, terminations, and liaising with providers
- Provide backup and support to Ability Management as required
- Create and update positions in HRIS following approved forms.
- Manage reports-to change and document storage.

- Experience in a unionized environment is preferred, with the ability to interpret and apply collective agreements.
- Strong understanding of benefits, employment legislation, and HR policies.
- Excellent communication skills — professional, clear, and approachable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with PeopleSoft or another HRIS platform is an asset.
WHAT MAKES YOU A DIFFERENCE MAKER?
