VICE PRESIDENTS OFFICE

Reporting directly to the President and CEO, the Vice President, Administration and Chief Financial Officer (VP, Admin & CFO) plays a key role in shaping NorQuest College’s future. As a member of the Executive Team, this role provides strategic oversight of the College’s financial, legal, IT, campus operations, and administrative functions, ensuring sustainability, accountability, and long-term success. The VP, Admin & CFO will also serve as Executive Sponsor for major initiatives such as the $250 million Career Skills Centre and advance NorQuest 2030 priorities, translating purpose into measurable outcomes.

 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Partner with the President and Board to shape and execute long-term strategy.
  • Lead financial and capital strategy, ensuring fiscal health and alignment with institutional priorities.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to optimize performance and agility.
  • Provide strategic oversight of IT, facilities, and administrative operations.
  • Champion compliance, risk management, and financial integrity.
  • Foster strong relationships with government, industry, donors, and community partners.
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams, promoting collaboration, inclusion, and innovation.

 

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field (graduate degree preferred).
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation required.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in finance and administration, including 5+ years at the executive level.
  • Proven experience with boards and governance bodies.
  • Deep expertise in financial stewardship, risk management, IT, legal, and facilities operations.

SALARY: $210,423.15  - $242,214.08 annually. This is a fulltime permanent position with immediate access to our great pension and benefit programs.
